No. Plenty of customers leave the keys and get on with their day, or book us while they’re at work. We just need access to the vehicle, somewhere to park alongside it, and a plug socket.

A standard 13A socket — we bring a 45m extension lead. We carry our own water, so an outside tap is handy but not essential. We also need room to park the van within about 3m of the car.

It depends on the service and vehicle size. A Maintenance Wash takes around 75 minutes, an Exterior Detail about 1½ hours, an Interior Deep Clean or In & Out Deep Clean 3–5 hours, and a Protection Detail 4–6 hours. An Enhancement Polish is done in a day, and a Ceramic Coating takes most of the day.

A valet cleans the car. Detailing corrects the paintwork itself — decontamination, clay bar and machine polishing to remove swirl marks and light scratches — and then protects it.

If the paint looks dull or cobwebbed in direct sunlight, that’s detailing. If it just looks dirty, you want a valet.

Yes. Every Interior Deep Clean shampoos and extracts the mats, carpets and boot, and seat treatment is an add-on, followed by high-heat drying so the car comes back touch dry rather than damp. Heavy pet hair woven into the fabric is a separate add-on (+£50).

For smells that survive a clean — cigarette, spilt milk, pets, bio — our Odour Removal Treatment works in four stages: steam and extraction, an air-con foam clean, ozone, then a purifying mist. See odour removal.

You choose 1, 3 or 7 years, from £190. Keep it going by hand washing rather than using automatic car washes. A coating locks in whatever is underneath it, so if the paint is swirled, add paint enhancement first.

It won’t stop stone chips, and we’d be wary of anyone who tells you otherwise. What it does is hold gloss, help the paint resist light chemical etching and make the car far easier to clean.

Light rain is usually fine for interior work. Heavy rain, strong winds, freezing temperatures or extreme heat can make some work unsafe, and then we’ll contact you to rebook at no cost to you. Machine polishing and ceramic coating need dry conditions, so those are the most weather-dependent.

Yes. We use professional-grade, pH-appropriate products that are paint-safe and interior-safe, and a safe wash method — snow foam first, then a two-bucket hand wash with grit guards and clean mitts. That last part matters more than the products: grit dragged across the paint is what puts swirl marks in.

A 10% deposit is paid by card when you book, and the balance is paid when the job is finished — cash, card (including Apple Pay and Google Pay) or bank transfer, with business invoices on request.
