Snow foam, two buckets and grit guards. Any grit left on the paint is grit the machine drags across it.
Glass-smooth before the pad
Tar and iron fallout dissolved, then clayed until the surface is smooth. This step is included in the price, not an extra.
Depth checked, then a test panel
We gauge the clearcoat and polish a test section first, so we know exactly what the paint will give up safely before committing to the car.
Worked panel by panel
Trims and edges taped, the paint worked in sections under a light, and the residue wiped down so what you see is the real finish.

Multi-Stage Paint Correction

A cutting stage to take out the damage, then refining stages to bring the gloss back — because heavy cutting leaves its own marks behind if you stop there.
For deeper scratches, heavy swirling, holograms left by a previous polisher, or paint that’s never been corrected in its life.
Why it’s at our unit, overnight
Multi-stage work needs controlled lighting to see what you’re removing, a stable temperature for the compounds to work properly, and more hours than a driveway allows. So the car comes to our unit in Birkenhead and stays overnight.
Drop off the evening before or first thing, and we’ll tell you when it’s ready. It’s kept inside.

The starting price covers the same preparation plus the correction stages. Where it lands depends on size and on how much correction the paint safely takes — which we only know once it’s measured and a test section is done.

Preparation

Foam dwells to soften traffic film, then a hand wash with grit guards and clean mitts. Polishing a dirty car just grinds the dirt into the paint.
Chemical Decontamination & Clay Bar
Tar and iron fallout dissolved, then the bonded grit clayed off. Both are included in the polish price — you’re never charged twice for the same prep.
Paint Depth Measured
Clearcoat is finite. We gauge its thickness before polishing, so we know how much is there to work with — and we’ll stop short rather than take a panel too far.
If a panel has been resprayed or has already been polished thin, we’ll tell you and leave it alone.
Test Section First
A small area is polished and inspected under light before we commit to the car. That’s how we know what the paint will actually give up — and what to promise you.
Trims & Edges Taped
Plastics, badges and panel edges masked before the machine goes near them. Compound staining on black trim is the classic sign of a rushed job.

8-Week Protection Wax
Bare polished paint has no protection at all, so a wax goes on either way.

Exterior glass cleaned streak-free, trims dressed and tyres finished, so the car leaves looking finished rather than just polished.

A ceramic coating over freshly corrected paint is the best moment to apply one — there’s nothing underneath it to lock in. Water sheets off, dirt struggles to bond, and washing gets far safer, which is what keeps the swirl marks from returning.
