No. Plenty of customers leave the keys and get on with their day, or book us while they’re at work. We just need access to the vehicle, somewhere to park alongside it, and a plug socket.

Electricity only — a standard 13A household socket, and we carry a 45m extension lead. We bring our own water supply, so no outside tap is needed.

It depends on the package and vehicle size. Mini Valets take around 1 hour, Full Valets 3–6 hours, and an Interior Deep Clean 3–5 hours. Paint enhancement and ceramic coating are usually a full day.

A valet cleans the car. Detailing corrects the paintwork itself — decontamination, clay bar and machine polishing to remove swirl marks and light scratches — and then protects it.

If the paint looks dull or cobwebbed in direct sunlight, that’s detailing. If it just looks dirty, you want a valet.

Yes. Stains are handled with steam, shampoo and wet-vac extraction, followed by high-heat drying so the car comes back touch dry rather than damp. Severe pet hair needs specialist tools and focused air agitation, which is a separate add-on.

Our coating is rated for around 12 months with sensible maintenance — hand washing rather than automatic car washes. It goes on over corrected paintwork, so it seals in a polished finish rather than sealing in swirl marks.

It won’t stop stone chips, and we’d be wary of anyone who tells you otherwise. What it does is resist chemicals, hold gloss and make the car far easier to clean.

Light rain is usually fine for interior work. For extreme conditions we’ll either reschedule or invite you to our garage in Birkenhead. Machine polishing and ceramic coating both need a dry surface, so those are more weather-dependent.

Yes. We use professional-grade, pH-appropriate products that are paint-safe and interior-safe, and a safe wash method — snow foam first, clean mitts, no shared sponges. That last part matters more than the products: grit carried between cars is what puts swirl marks into paint.
